Daniel, Andraya and I go way back. And by way back, I mean I can remember Daniel shooting a PowerRangers gun at my brother and going on middle school church retreats with his bride.
So when I was in New York about a month ago, I came up from the subway to have a voicemail from Daniel wanting to take some engagement portraits!
New York+Subway+photo voicemails=COOL
So off we went exploring Boone Hall Plantation and some of the b-e-a-utiful streets of downtown Charleston. All in all it was a huge mix of vineyards/patterned dresses/sweatiness/oak trees/old walls/and lovelovelovin!
Gorgeous!
We happened to wander past the church where their ceremony is going to be held!

Erica+Mike
I remember talking to Erica on the phone last June while putting things into my suitcase before I left for the summer and I finally got to meet her at the end of May at her Hilton Head wedding! My good friend Lizzy came along it felt like were dancing, sweating, partying just as much as all the guests were. Congrats you two!
Erica and Mike opted for a first look (which I was super excited about) on the balcony of their hotel suite and it couldn't have gone any better!
Now this is the point where you stop reading and listen to their first dance song while looking at the next series of photos. After being introduced, Mike and Erica moved straight into their first dance. They had told me numerous times how much they loved to dance and their story somewhat started on the dancefloor, but I haven't seen a couple have so much fun with their first dance in a longtime.
After the dinner, it was all out dancing. Toward the end of the night, the DJ told me and Lizzy we were the funniest photographers he had worked with because we were dancing the whole night while working.
