Gerry and Christy

This wedding was truly awesome. I don't use that word lightly, especially when referring to weddings, but after partying with this group, there is no other word that could give this night justice. I had known Christy through the Galvan and Weber families, so being surrounded by so many familiar faces made the whole day even better. Gerry and Christy were all about their guests-as much time singing, eating and dancing with their guests-you could tell their wedding day was really about celebrating with those who had poured into their relationship so greatly.
Oh man, oh man, well let's do this! Meet Gerry and Christy Wallace!

Christy and Gerry have been on missions to the Dominican Republic and so they set up a table devoted to the work being done there and had slideshows throughout the night with photos from their trip. Guests took home coffee beans from the DR and their choice of charity went toward the Dominican too!

I'm so thankful to Lizzy for shooting the ceremony with me and then staying for the rest of the night-having an extra pair of hands is such a big help!

The ceremony was held at The Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul in downtown Charleston,
The reception at the beautiful Founder's Hall in Charlestowne Landing,
Flowers were by Lotus Flowers
The cake was done by Magnolia Wedding Cakes,
and the catering by Granville's Cafe and Catering
Finally, Plane Jane topped the cake contributing to the many, many wild dancing photos you saw at the end of the post.

I know I say it so often, but I really lovelovelove what I get to do. Definitely the greatest.
